The Festival "The Crystal Key"

25 - 26 july, 2014, Nizhny Novgorod region


"The Crystal key" is an annual festival-competition of folklore groups.

The event is organized with the support of the Ministry of culture of Russian Federation and the Government of Nizhny Novgorod region.

Already for the 10-th time in front of the guests of the festival creative teams from different parts of Russia – Samara and Vladimir regions, the Republic of Mari El, Komi, Tatarstan and others will perform.

The participants will present two types of works for the audience judgement: folk songs from all regions of Russia and vocal work of professional composer written in the style of a folk song.

The singer Pelageya, People's Artists of Russia Lydia Nebaba and Ekaterina Zhemchuzhnaya, guests from Guinea, Kenya, Haiti and other artists will be the guests of honour of the gala concert.

The festival opening will be held on July 25 at 15:00 at the central square of the city of Bogorodsk while at 21:00 the concert will go on in the village of Sartakovo.

On July 26 the festival will be held in Sartakovo.

The monument to Saint Equal-to-Apostoles Grand Duke Vladimir will be opened during the event.
